In this tutorial, we will learn how to create a simple yet powerful PowerPoint presentation with a dynamic menu. This menu allows us to display information about different categories such as food, education, career, travel, medical, social, and others.

Step 1: Setting Up the Slide (01:20 - 02:33)

First, we need to set up the slide:

  1. Add a new slide.
  2. Go to Insert > Shapes > Rectangle and draw a rectangle that covers the entire slide.
  3. Set the Shape Outline to No Outline.
  4. Choose any color for the Shape Fill.

Step 2: Adding the Oval Shape (02:33 - 03:06)

Next, we add an oval shape to the slide:

  1. Go to Insert > Shapes > Basic Shapes > Oval.
  2. Draw an oval shape in the center of the slide.
  3. Set the Shape Outline to No Outline.
  4. Right-click on the oval shape and go to Format Shape. Set the transparency to 50%.

Step 3: Cutting the Oval Shape (03:06 - 04:27)

Now, we need to cut the oval shape from the rectangle:

  1. Duplicate the slide.
  2. Select the rectangle shape, hold the Shift key, and select the oval shape.
  3. Go to Shape Format > Merge Shapes > Fragment.
  4. Delete the unwanted objects and fill the remaining shape with a light black color.

Step 4: Adding the Menu (04:27 - 07:52)

Next, we add the menu to the slide:

  1. Insert a rectangle or an oval shape on the slide.
  2. Fill the shape with black color and adjust its size.
  3. Add the menu items (e.g., food, education, career, etc.) to the shape.
  4. Align the menu items vertically.

Step 5: Adding the Headline (07:52 - 09:45)

Now, we add a headline to the slide:

  1. Insert a text box and type your headline.
  2. Duplicate the text box and change the font color to white.
  3. Position the white text box on top of the original text box to create a shadow effect.

Step 6: Adding Category Information (09:45 - 13:04)

Finally, we add information for each category:

  1. Duplicate the slide.
  2. Move the headline up.
  3. Insert an image related to the category.
  4. Add a title and detailed text for the category.
  5. Repeat these steps for each category in the menu.

That’s it! Now you have a PowerPoint presentation with a dynamic menu. When you click on a menu item, the focus will shift to that item, and the corresponding information will be displayed. This is a powerful way to present information in a clear and organized manner.
